Do you have old accounts somewhere?
If you’ve moved around or had several jobs, chances are you have old super accounts with money in them! Transferring them to LGsuper could save you money in fees and a lot of time. It also means you’ll be less likely to forget where your money is.
Here’s what to do. Simply complete a Transfer to LGsuper form for each account you want to transfer, and return it to LGsuper.
We will contact the other fund for you and let you know when we’ve received your money. This generally takes around one month.
If you prefer, you can use your other super fund’s form to organise the transfer. You will need to provide them with the following details about LGsuper and your account:
- SFN: 150541
- ABN: 23 053 121 564
- SPIN: QLG0001AU
- Your member number. This is shown on your welcome letter and on your annual benefit statement
LGsuper does not charge entry fees on money received from other super funds. Before requesting a transfer, you should check with your other fund/s to see whether they charge any exit or penalty fees, or if you will lose insurance cover.
