For most members, applying for cover through LGsuper is now as simple as logging in to LGsuper online and filling in your details through our new LIFEapp* tool.
If you are under age 55, have a clean bill of health and the amount you are applying for is less than $1 million for Death and Total and Permanent Disability cover and/or Income Protection cover up to $8,000 per month you could avoid any underwriting. Best of all, you are notified instantly if you are approved. Restrictions may apply and depending on your level of health and needs you may need to complete an additional form.

*Different employers have different arrangements. This tool cannot be accessed by employees of Brisbane City Council, some Queensland Urban Utilities employees, and employees of other associated employers.
